The celebrities will play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning a cash prize up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.

For fans who want more, the official visualised companion podcast is returning, Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked will be on BBC Two immediately after the main series and will also be available on BBC Sounds and BBC iPlayer.

Host Ed Gamble will be joined by the celebrities and players from previous series to analyse and react to developments in the castle.

Ahead of the hotly anticipated fourth series coming in 2026, it is also confirmed that The Traitors will return for a fifth series and applications are now open.

Since the series debuted on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in 2022, the show has established a 100% faithful audience. A breakout hit from series one, the show has seen phenomenal growth and series three averaged 10.3 million viewers across all 12 episodes with the launch episode reaching 10.9 million, making it the biggest unscripted series in the market (since ITV's I'm a Celebrity in 2022) and the biggest unscripted series for 16-34s (2.3M), with half of its viewing coming from iPlayer. The Traitors continues to be the biggest Entertainment brand in the market for 16-34's.

The Traitors has also earned a raft of awards including the BAFTA TV Award for Best Reality & Constructed Factual, the NTA for Reality Competition, the RTS award for Entertainment and the Broadcasting Press Guild Award for Best Entertainment Programme. Whilst Claudia Winkleman won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Entertainment Performance and the RTS award for Entertainment Performance and the Edinburgh TV Festival Variety Outstanding Achievement Award.
