Conservative podcasting firebrand Tucker Carlson erupted at Donald Trump's controversial adviser after she linked him to the synagogue shooting in Michigan on Thursday.
A gunman on Thursday rammed his car into a synagogue in Michigan, where he was shot dead by on-site private security.
Laura Loomer, a close outside adviser to the President, blamed Carlson and Candace Owens 'for inciting violence' against Jewish Americans.
'Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens both said everyone needs to know where their local Chabad is,' Loomer wrote on X. 'I said their hatred would lead to people shooting up Jews in synagogues.'
Chabad is an educational organization and outreach group that offers spiritual and humanitarian support to Jewish communities around the globe.
'The Trump administration must start deporting these Islamic savages from our country and we must start holding people accountable for inciting violence,' Loomer continued.
Carlson responded to Loomer's accusations by comparing her content and opinions to 'pornography.'
'I rarely read the filth you publish, and have never responded to it, for the same reason I avoid pornography. It's unhealthy and I don't want to encourage it,' Carlson replied. 'But in this specific case I understand exactly what you're doing and I'd like to stop it now.'

Carlson accuses Loomer of 'absurd slander' meant to 'blame me preemptively for violent attacks on American Jews that you believe are coming'
The former Fox News host found himself in hot water last week after claiming the Chabad-Lubavitch movement is secretly orchestrating a 'religious war' aimed at destroying the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem to rebuild the Third Temple.
Owens amplified Carlson's claims about the organization's desire to rebuild the Third Temple, warning her followers to be 'aware of where the Chabad is nearest your home.'
Carlson told Loomer on Thursday: 'I didn't attack or even criticize Chabad, an organization I've mentioned precisely once in my life. Last week I said I believed that IDF soldiers in Israel have received third temple patches for their uniforms from Chabad. I believe that's true. Please let me know if I'm wrong, not that you care.'
He then goes on to accuse the far-right media personality of 'absurd slander' meant to 'blame me preemptively for violent attacks on American Jews that you believe are coming.'
'I abhor violence against innocents, which is why I am disgusted by what Israel has done in Gaza and why I argued against the current war in Iran.'
'It's all immoral and indefensible. I believe in the inherent rights of the individual because I believe in God. What you're doing divides this country more than you likely understand. I hope you will stop,' Carlson concluded.
Carlson has faced widespread accusations of antisemitism over his claims that the Iran war is part of a Jewish plot and that Israeli 'psychological influence' shapes US perceptions.
Loomer, a far-right online influencer, has emerged as one of Carlson's fiercest critics.
Carlson is a major political ally of Vice President JD Vance and has visited the White House on multiple occasions.
Loomer, whom Vice President JD Vance confirmed to the Daily Mail is a close confidante of Trump, has emerged as one of Carlson's fiercest critics.
After Trump launched 'Operation Epic Fury' two weeks ago, Carlson publicly denounced the war as 'absolutely disgusting and evil.'
The President responded by saying that 'Tucker's lost his way.'
'I knew that a long time ago, and he's not MAGA. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that,' Trump told ABC News.
Carlson is a major political ally of Vance and one of the most vocal supporters of Trump in the conservative media sphere.
He campaigned for Trump in the election and spoke in support of him at multiple rallies, including the Republican National Convention in 2024.
