Each brick of this home was laid with love - and no, we're not talking about the house itself.

A listing for a Washington, D.C., townhouse has gone viral, with the home not only in the center of D.C. - but replicated perfectly in tiny Lego bricks on the Zillow listing.

The four-story townhouse, featuring 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathroom townhouse is on the market for $1,200,000 - with no word on how much the miniature replica will go for.

According to the listing agent, Denny Horner, the couple initially showed him their replica, sparking a unique listing idea.

'[It was something] we've never seen before,' Horner told The Washington Post.

In a typical house listing, photos of every house as well as a floor plan are usually posted on the real estate website.

However, Horner said when it came time to list the property, the house still needed a paint job and hadn't had any real estate photos taken yet.

Instead, they thought they would approach it with a touch of creativity - by using the tiny home.

'We thought: "We have a creative client. Let's be a little creative in our marketing,"' he shared.

Horner added that having a quirk in a listing 'definitely helps' bring attention to the listing.

The Zillow listing caught the eye of amused online viewers, with the home reposted by Zillow Gone Wild, a popular online account documenting unusual house listings.

The home's owner, Andrew Huddleston, spent four months rebuilding a miniature version of the home he shared with his husband, describing it as a 'labor of love.'

He made sure to get all the details correct, ordering specially made bricks to match the ones in his actual home and scaling down the paintings in his home and sticking them on bricks.

He told The Post he had previously made some impressive creations, including large-scale framed portraits of characters from the show Dallas.

However, he said he loves making actual buildings, which translated into his perfectly replicated plastic brick home, with the house featuring all of the finer details.

He included recreations of carpet patterns, tiny utensils, artworks and their indoor gym.

Huddleston spared no detail when recreating the home

Huddleston built the model a few years ago when the house was fairly new, and felt like they had settled into their home.

'We finally got it where we decorated the way we want it, and so I just thought this would be a good labor of love,' her recalled.

The couple, who are relocating to the West Coast, said they are taking their replica with them.

'I put too much into it to take it apart,' he admitted,' adding leaving it behind 'would break my heart.'
