When she split from her husband in December, Jessica Alba announced she was ready to 'embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution' after undergoing a 'journey of self-realization and transformation.'

And embark she has. The actress and businesswoman has been swapping family life for a recent vacation with heartthrob Danny Ramirez, the up-and-coming actor who is 11 years her junior.

The unlikely pair sparked a frenzy when they were pictured returning to Los Angeles this week after a trip to Cancun, just five months after she declared her 16-year marriage to Cash Warren was finally over.

Ramirez, 32, is said to be 'enamored' with Alba, 44, who has three children with her estranged husband. But insiders say she is not looking for anything serious - with one source close to her even teasing that a newly single Orlando Bloom could prove to be competition for Ramirez (Bloom and Alba recently started working together on a film).

'Being single has been up and down for Jessica,' the source told the Daily Mail. 'She was family first and always thought when she got married that it was going to be forever, but once her relationship broke down with Cash, the heartache from that was a tough pill to swallow.
'But divorce was the only option, and now that she has been able to be out with friends and go on some dates, it has been eye opening.'

The pair sparked a frenzy after they were pictured returning to Los Angeles on Sunday after a trip to Cancun, six months after she declared her 17-year marriage to Cash Warren was over.

But Ramirez, 33, could face competition from Alba's newly single costar Orlando Bloom, 48, (pictured)

Alba, who had not been pictured wearing her wedding rings for months, confirmed her separation from Warren, 46, in January, following weeks of speculation about the state of their relationship. They filed for divorce in February - it has not yet been finalized.

The pair met on the set of the Fantastic Four in 2004 and married in 2008. They share two daughters, Honor, 17, and Haven, 13, and a son, Hayes, 7.

Over the years, Warren had been open out about how his jealously nearly ruined their relationship when they first started dating, something that later culminated in the pair taking a four year break.

Alba also hinted at issues in 2024 when she commented about the lack of romance in their lives during an appearance on Katherine Schwarzenegger's podcast Before, During And After Baby. She admitted that she didn't always find the balance between her own responsibilities and ensuring that her husband 'feels tended to'.

'You know, I think that [Cash] probably gets the short end of the stick,' she said. 'It's hard. It's impossible.'

So, perhaps it is no surprise that Alba - who is said to be worth an estimated $100 million thanks to her beauty and household goods brand The Honest Company - is apprehensive about rushing into a serious relationship.

'Danny is cool, a nice guy and he is enamored with her,' our insider said. 'She's not in that frame of mind. He has a chance to make something out of their connection, but she is taking it all in stride. Right now, she's looking to just have fun.'

Alba was recently spotted with the hunky Ramirez, who turns 33 in September, while boarding a plane from LA to Mexico, and then again upon their joint return on Sunday.

Their sighting comes two months after she was spotted 'kissing' a mystery man in London - it remains unclear who that was.

Ramirez, also an actor, has previously starred in Top Gun: Maverick as Lieutenant Mickey Garcia and is currently in the midst of filming Avengers: Doomsday, which is set to drop December 18, 2026.

For her part, Alba recently started filming new thriller 'The Mark' with Bloom. It is understood that the pair share a purely professional relationship, but that Alba also finds him 'charming.'

The British actor, 48,is newly single having recently split from singer Katy Perry. The exes are parents to daughter Daisy, 4.

If 'fun' is what Alba is looking for,Bloom could no doubt provide in abundance having recently shrugged off his own split from singer Katy Perry by partying with celebrity pals in Italy for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's wedding.

'Along with being able to date, jessica has been happy getting back in the fold of filming,'our source said.'she's shooting right now with orlando bloom.and before anyone asks there aren't any sparks between them.it is strictly professional-at least for now.'
