A Canadian lawmaker was ruthlessly mocked only after using the absurdly long woke acronym MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+ during a press conference.

Leah Gazan, 53, a member of parliament, used the 17-character phrase on Wednesday while discussing $7 billion in budget cuts to two federal Indigenous departments, as seen in footage shared by Juno News.

While condemning a slash in funding, she managed to smoothly mention the phrase MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+, meaning: Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual.

The + represents all other identities not included in the nearly 20-character acronym.

Users were astonished by the absurd length of the acronym and by Gazan's ability to recite it without error.

Many online insulted her by calling her 'insane' and calling the phrase something similar to a 'strong password' while others asked how she managed to 'not laugh' while reciting all those letters.

However, Gazan held a very serious tone throughout her address.

'When the Budget was released, I was shocked to find out that Prime Minister Carney is cutting $7billion between Indigenous Services Canada and Crown-Indigenous Relations,' said the Canadian lawmaker.

Gazan was discussing $7 billion in budget cuts to Indigenous Services Canada and Crown-Indigenous Relations. She also was outraged with Prime Minister Mark Carney.

'They provided $0 to deal with the ongoing genocide of MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+. This is abhorrent. This is callous.'
'This is callous because the very liberal government that has stripped organizations of life-sustaining funding has now committed $13billion on military spending,' Gazan added.

Gazan would later go on to X to speak further on her issue with the budget, where she used MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+ throughout.

Despite her outrage, many were fixated on making jokes about the phrase she used.

'I'm impressed that she kept a straight face through all of that,' wrote one user.
'Insane, granted. But amazing she was able to knock that out like that,' added another.

Many users online mocked the Canadian lawmaker, while others were impressed that she was able to pronounce the acronym so clearly.

One user joked that experts would need to be brought in the future as it appears the acronym keeps growing.

Another applauded her memory and ability to remain serious.

A third user gave a quick insult while also giving props for being able to recite the phrase.

'New super strong password just dropped,' a third wrote.
'We're getting into Morse-code territory here,' another added. 'We'll soon need an expert to decipher all the letters and their meaning.'
