WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella regularly appears in the ring wearing bikini-like get-ups, but that doesn't mean she feels incredible wearing a swimsuit '24/7.'
The 42-year-old professional wrestler had the opportunity to audition for an acting role in Fox's upcoming 12-episode Baywatch reboot for the 2026-27 season.
'I ended up not doing it because I knew that I would not be comfortable,' Bella confessed on her Xfinity podcast, The Nikki and Brie Show, on Monday.
'I would not be comfortable wearing a red swimsuit 24/7 because I am not confident yet in a swimsuit. So, I didn't do it.'
The San Diego-born athlete said she felt 'the most confident' when she's sporting her Nikki Bella gear during matches.
'Someone made a comment about me last week, like, she didn't even say thick in a good way, like, "She got bigger" or something and they could say all they want. The comment didn't even affect me because I felt so damn good,' Bella (born Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace) noted.
The new Baywatch ensemble includes Brooks Nader, Stephen Amell, Hassie Harrison, Jessica Belkin, Thaddeus LaGrone, Noah Beck, Shay Mitchell and Livvy Dunne as well as OG cast members Erika Eleniak and David Chokachi reprising their roles.
McG directed the first episode of the adrenaline-fueled seaside reboot alongside showrunner Matt Nix.
The original Baywatch - starring David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson - was canceled in 1990 by NBC after one season but survived 11 seasons through syndication and eventually became the number one most-watched TV series in the world despite dismal reviews.
On Tuesday, the Happy Gilmore 2 actress - who boasts 27.3 million social media followers - was up early sharing Instagram stories of herself in the gym doing physical therapy on her broken ankle with fitness trainer Katie Bopp-Hunt.
Bella underwent surgery to have plates and a screw inserted into her fractured foot after injuring herself during a match against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss on the March 27 episode of SmackDown.
The health setback prevented the 5ft 6in stunner from competing with her twin sister Brie 'Bella' Danielson during night one of WrestleMania 42 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 18.
Instead, WWE wrestler Paige filled in and the pair wound up winning the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.
