Shop our NBC Select editors' wishlists, including vacuums, storage essentials and cuticle serums.

As shopping experts, we know one of the best times to shop for great deals is during Prime Day. That means most of us compile a wishlist of items we're hoping to buy well ahead of the fall shopping event, which lands on October 7-8 this year.

To give you some inspiration for your own shopping list, we compiled a few products we'll immediately add to our carts during the sale, including ones we've previously tested, NBC Select award winners and those recommended by the experts we spoke to.

I really wanted to buy this before my cross-country Amtrak ride but I had to prioritize other items that took up my budget. I'm hoping to see more than a few dollars knocked off of this microfiber towel. It's thin, quick-drying and compact -- definitely something I would keep in my bag for lap swim or in a carry-on bag while traveling.

I don't completely hate my current filtered water pitcher, but there are two things I wish I could change: the plastic filter/cartridge system and the time it takes to filter water in general (slow, very slow). The word-of-mouth around this Aarke pitcher is inescapable and the cartridge system is stainless steel, so I'm eager to get my hands on it, especially if it's marked down.

This cat-scratching mat has been on my shopping list for years -- please mark it down Amazon. The shape is a perfect match for the side of my Joybird daybed and the pattern is chic. My cats go through scratch boards pretty quickly and this one is big enough to entertain them for months, at least.

I love Weck jars -- they're so multifunctional; I store granola in them, use them anytime I need an airtight container and best of all, drink tea or coffee from them. They're a bit expensive for what they really are so I always hope to buy a few on sale. Fingers crossed.

I saw someone on TikTok using one of these instead of a traditional dehumidifier and thought it looked so useful. My closet is right next to my bathroom, like a Carrie Bradshaw situation, so I sometimes worry about extra moisture from my shower making its way over to my closet, where I have some special shoes, bags and clothing pieces. You hang this from the rod in your closet and it collects moisture from the air and stores it in a bag. Once it’s full, you can empty it, but it seems like a lot less work than maintaining a dehumidifier.

I love the style of everything from Our Place, especially this oven-style air fryer. While I have a drawer-style air fryer, I also enjoy having an oven-style one because I find they’re best for baking and large pieces of meat and poultry. This air fryer has three dials on the front to adjust the temperature and time, and (the best part) it has a glass window on the front similar to a real oven. This way, I’d be able to monitor all of my food and avoid being disappointed by accidentally burning something. It’s also available in two sizes and has a steam function, which is uncommon for a lot of air fryers.

While I don’t splurge a lot on appliances, I think an air conditioner is worth it, especially if it’s a high-quality one. My colleagues have tested Windmill air conditioners and love how quiet they sound and sophisticated they look. I also love that it’s Wi-Fi enabled and would fit in my small New York apartment windows.

At first, I thought spending money on disposable towels was a little silly, but now I can’t imagine not having them. Admittedly, I’m a germaphobe when it comes to whatever touches my face, so I go through regular face towels very quickly, and that means spending a lot on laundry (which is very expensive here in New York City). Now, I use a Clean Skin Club towel to dry my face after washing it, and it has been a gamechanger for both my wallet and my skin -- no more reusing a towel that collects germs and causes breakouts.

Charlotte Tilbury just launched on Amazon, which means I’ll be stocking up if it goes on sale for October Prime Day. I use several Charlotte Tilbury products, including the iconic Pillow Talk lipstick, the Magic Cream and this setting spray. Both “airbrush” and “flawless” in the name are entirely accurate -- it gives my makeup staying power, and leaves it looking even and glowy after a few sprays.

After seeing a bunch of my friends with this exact camera, it’s high up on my wish list. It’s more affordable than many other digital cameras on the market yet the photos come out beautifully. I’m convinced I’ve never looked better in photos than I do in the ones from this camera.

I’ve used this cuticle serum for several months and I’m just now running out. I’ve been on my nail growth journey after years of biting them and this serum has played a major role in getting them healthy again. I only need a single drop on each nail to get them perfectly moisturized. Plus, it smells amazing so it’s a great way to ditch that chemical-like smell that’s common in most nail products.

I’ve been using my shoe storage bench as a weight bench for about six months now, and while it works surprisingly well (it’s sturdy and just the right height), I know an actual weight bench would serve me better for home workouts. If I can find a good place to store it, I’m hoping to buy this Flybird weight bench on sale.

I restock on the products part of my daily hair care routine every Prime Day, and I honestly never pay full price for them because of that. Even if I’m not totally out, I buy a bottle or two since I know I’ll use it. Olaplex’s curl gel has been my go-to for about a year and it’s the first styling gel I’ve fully committed myself to in a long time. It manages to tame and define my very curly, very thick hair, whether I diffuse or air-dry, and it never leaves behind a super crunchy cast. It also doesn’t feel heavy or weigh down my curls, which most other styling products do in my experience.

I rave about Dream Coat for Curly Hair to whoever will listen — to give you an idea of how much I use it, Amazon says I’ve bought it six times in the past three years. I add at least two bottles to my cart every Prime Day because sadly, it only comes in a small bottle which I go through in about two months. The spray is the final step in my daily care hair routine and really ties my curls together. I use it to soften the cast my Olaplex gel creates, and it makes hair shiny, less frizzy and softer looking and feeling. I’m also going to buy the travel-sized version of the spray this Prime Day if it’s on sale to throw in my toiletry bag.

Earth Rated sent me a box of these dog poop bags when I first adopted my puppy in March, and I've become obsessed with them. I know that sounds like an insane thing to say about dog poop bags, but these are truly superior. They're thick so they never tear; they're easy to quickly and cleanly rip off the roll; they're just the right size. I also love that the brand includes a sticker on the third-to-last bag telling me there's only a few left -- that's always my sign to put another roll in my bag before our next walk so I can refill my holder when needed. Although I normally don't like artificially fragranced products, I get Earth Rated's lavender-scented bags because the smell isn't overpowering and helps mask what's inside them.

If I feel remotely dehydrated on a long rug, I can’t give it my all, so I rely on SaltStick’s FashChews to keep my electrolyte levels up while I’m sweating heavily. I run about 30 miles a week, so I go through these pretty quickly whether I’m running indoors on the treadmills or outdoors. I’m almost out of my current supply, so I’m buying a few bottles this Prime Day if they’re on sale. My favorite flavors are mixed berry and lemon-lime, but I might try a bottle of green apple chews this time too.

Whenever people ask me how I keep my teeth so white, I let them in on my secret weapon: this toothpaste. Prime Day is ideal for stocking up on essentials, and that’s exactly what I plan to do with this bulk pack. Over the past year, I’ve started regularly drinking coffee and noticed a difference in my teeth’s whiteness, but this toothpaste corrected my issue almost instantly—which is why I always keep a spare tube around the house.

I am one of the many lactose-intolerant people who would much rather ignore my condition and enjoy my favorite cheeses and creams as I please. That’s where these Lactaid supplements come in—they let me enjoy my daily dairy fixes without experiencing the gas, bloating and indigestion that usually comes with lactose consumption. Since I eat a lot of dairy (and I mean a lot), I usually go through about one of these bottles per month, so on Prime Day, I’m hoping to buy a few bottles on sale to replenish my supply.

I’ve used the same skin care products for years, but I've noticed a shift in my skin type and texture recently, which tells me that I need to switch things up. I've heard great things about this serum, especially when it comes to barrier repair and reducing inflammation. I like to buy my skin care products in bulk since it takes about three months to see a difference, so I'm hoping this glow serum will be on sale so I can buy two or three bottles.

I hate to admit it, but I don’t vacuum. I painstakingly sweep and wear house shoes because I really have no interest in paying upwards of $600 for a decent vacuum. I have a small, off-brand handheld vacuum, but it requires serious bending which is not great for my sensitive back. This vacuum would be perfect for my needs. It’s cordless, reaches hard places with no bending required, and there’s a good chance it will be less than $300 come Prime Day.

I’m always in need of a hand cream because I constantly wash my hands, which leaves them dry and uncomfortable. La Roche-Posay’s hand cream feels soothing and hydrating without leaving a greasy layer behind. It’s a simple, everyday luxury that I’m hoping to stock up on this Prime Day.

After seeing this product all over the internet for months, I finally caved and bought it -- and it turned out to be one of my favorite purchases. You apply the product to your lips like a lipstick or a lip liner, depending on your desired coverage. It’s incredibly pigmented so it looks a little wild at first, but after ten minutes, you peel it off to reveal a beautiful color that’ll stay on all day (even after eating and drinking). I have the “p-INKED” shade, but I’m looking to experiment with a few different colors if the product goes on sale.

Charlotte Tilbury makes some of my favorite makeup products ever, like the Hollywood Flawless Filter Highlighter. I’ve heard great things about the brand’s entire skin care line, especially the Magic Cream Face Moisturizer. As much as I want to try it, I don’t want to spend $100 on a moisturizer. Since Charlotte Tilbury just launched on Amazon, I’m hoping to grab this on sale during Prime Day.

Apple recently released a bunch of new products including the third generation of Airpods Pro. I've been using the same third generation Airpods for the last four years so I've decided it's time for an upgrade. These new Airpods Pro can track workouts do live translations and have much better battery life than previous model. Since Airpods are usually on sale during Prime Day I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll see Airpods Pro 3 on discount . If not ... I'll be waiting patiently Black Friday Cyber Monday .
