Dermot Mulroney has reached a settlement in his divorce from wife Prima Apollinaare that officially ends their nearly 15-year marriage.
The 62-year-old actor filed a declaration in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, January 16, that states he and Apollinaare, 52, have struck a bargain on all the specifics, including shared property, child custody and support for their two daughters, and visitation, according to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail.
The exes negotiated spousal support and visitation as well as attorney fees as part of the terms, and now they are waiting on a judge to sign off.
The Daily Mail has reached out to Mulroney's representative but has not yet received a response.
The actor -- who played Julia Roberts's romantic interest in the 1997 rom-com My Best Friend's Wedding, and most recently played Sydney Sweeney's father in Anyone But You -- filed for divorce on June 21, 2025, citing irreconcilable differences.
In the original documents, the actor requested joint legal custody of their daughters Mabel Ray, 17, whom he and Apollinaare welcomed two years before marrying, and Sally June, 15.
Mulroney also has a son, Clyde Keener Mulroney, 26, from his previous marriage to actress Catherine Keener, 66.
Mulroney asked the court to terminate Apollinaare spousal support, but requested spousal support for himself, according to TMZ.
However, an insider spoke to People to set the record straight on that account.
'No one is asking for anything, and no one is denying anything. They are not arguing over the children nor money,' the source told the publication. 'They used mediators, not lawyers, as they are friends and this is amicable.'
The Chicago Fire star has a reported net worth of two million dollars. It's not known how much Apollinaare is worth.
Mulroney maintained in his June divorce filing that 'all community earnings and accumulation during marriage through the date of separation' will be considered community property.
On The Rosie Show in 2012, the one-time movie heartthrob opened up about his decision to remarry after his 2007 divorce from Keener.
'A lot of it doesn't make sense, but you can't deny your heart,' he said.

Besides being an actor, Mulroney is also an accomplished, classically trained cellist. He began playing the cello at seven years old in Alexandra, Virginia, and continued through high school and college at Northwestern University.
He has contributed to blockbuster scores for films including Rogue One, Star Trek, Incredibles 2, Coco and the Mission: Impossible sequels.
Apollinaare, whose real name is Tharita Cutulle, is a singer-songwriter born in Italy to musicians. She dropped her first single, Stand Up To Love, in 2017, and has since released two Eps and an album.
The pair's shared love of music was the bonding point when they started dating in 2008.
In February 2024, Mulroney and his then-wife gave no indication of relationship troubles as they performed a duet of Islands in the Stream on Fox's We Are Family.
When asked his reaction to getting the call to do the show, Mulroney told EW: 'It was such an amazing phone call to get... They knew Prima's music and put together that we are this sort of secret couple even though we've been together for 20 years.'
He went on to describe how they are 'kind of a stealth Hollywood couple' and that they were honored to be on a 'game show that helps other people and isn't just fun and games.'
Prima added: 'We both like to do karaoke together and we both like music so much.'
Mulroney was a movie heartthrob who played the object of Julia Roberts' affection in My Best Friend's Wedding (1997)
'It was really an amazing experience to be on television and singing. Of course, with my husband, I play with him all the time in the house. We all play instruments. We have harps, guitars, ukulele, pianos; you name it.'
She also said she 'had fun singing' with her spouse and that it was 'such an easy peasy experience' for her.
At the time of the divorce filing, the former couple listed the same home address in Los Angeles.
That indicated that they were still cohabiting following their split or just sharing a mailing address.
