A group of friends trying to enjoy their Spring Break were shocked when they returned to their Airbnb - only to find a python lurking between the sheets in a bed.
Dramatic video of the encounter shows the baby ball python curled up on the bed at the Airbnb in Punta Gorda, Florida - outside of Destin - as a man screams, 'There's a f*ing snake in the bed,' and TikTokker Mary Chandler Hicks could be heard screaming in the background.
Her boyfriend, Clayton Robert George, also appeared to be distressed by the site as he combed his fingers through his hair.
The video then cut to show George taking off his shirt, hunching down and quickly snatching the snake.
'Nobody move, nobody move, nobody move,' he warned as he carefully carried the snake in his shirt.
As he got closer to where Chandler Hicks was hiding in the doorway, she told him to take the snake outside and throw it over the fence.
'Oh my god, oh my god,' she said. 'I'm washing the sheets. I'm not sleeping on that.'
At that point, the man who was filming the discovery told the couple he was 'glad I said, "Let me check the bed for y'all."'
A group of friends staying at an Airbnb in Punta Gorda, Florida were shocked to find a baby ball python curled up on their bed.
TikTokker Mary Chandler Hicks could be heard screaming from the bedroom door as her boyfriend Clayton Robert George appeared distressed by the sight.
He soon sprang into action, taking off his shirt and using it to grab the snake.
In a follow-up video, Chandler Hicks explained that she and her boyfriend were out really late and had left a bedroom door connecting the Airbnb to a screened-in porch open - but the screened-in porch door was closed.
Once they returned from their outing, Chandler Hicks said she found a pair of girl's shorts in their room that do not belong to her.
She later explained in a comment that one of the friends she and George were staying with had thrown the shorts into their room shortly after they left the house, assuming they were hers.
'I'm like, "Wait, somebody's shorts are in here, like, that are not mine,"' she recounted. 'So I was like, "Wait, oh my gosh was someone in here? Did somebody sleep in our bed? Oh my gosh."'
'So I move the shorts, I throw them and one of the guys we were staying with was like, "No, we need to check the room, we need to check everything. That’s so gross."
'So we were like checking the room, moving the sheets - there’s the snake.
'Y’all, I had to like blink three times. I thought I was hallucinating. I literally thought I was hallucinating,' Chandler Hicks then told her 13,000 followers.
'Like, thank God I did not decide to just conk out and lay on the bed, because if that were the case, it would’ve been way worse.'
Chandler Hicks pleaded with her boyfriend to throw the snake over the fence.
She called him the 'boyfriend of the year' in a follow-up video for springing into action.
Chandler Hicks then went on to call George the 'boyfriend of the year because he just went [into] instinct mode' to remove the snake from the premises.
Once it was a safe distance away, she said they threw the sheets into the wash.
