Cat Deeley went missing from This Morning again on Wednesday as she was once again replaced by Angela Scanlon - with no explanation.
Fans were left divided after tuning in to the ITV daytime show, where Ben Shephard revealed he would be joined by Angela, 42, for the second day in a row.
Cat, 49, went missing from her regular slot on the programme yesterday (February 24), with Ben, 51, simply telling fans at home: 'Cat is away'.
No further explanation was offered up to fans, while Cat was seen taking to her Instagram stories to share a snap of her out in London's Mayfair with friends.
On Wednesday, Ben explained he would be joined by former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Angela, without any update on when Cat would be back.
He told viewers at the start of the show, pointing towards his new co-star: 'She's back! For another day, Angela Scanlon is with me!'

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, viewers reacted to Angela's return, with one writing: 'Where's Cat?' as another chimed in: 'Team, where's Cat?'
'How far down the list of replacements was Angela Scanlon?' someone else hit out, as another concluded: 'I'm late! Where's cat?'
Others hit out against Angela, with one writing: 'Get rid of her and I may watch again,' as another added: 'Can Scanlon try better to disguise reading the autocue?'
But fans were quick to step in to defend the presenter, adding: 'Angela Scanlon is a total breath of fresh air on This Morning today!
'She stepped in at the last minute for Cat Deeley and the chemistry with Ben Shephard is already top-tier. Can we see more of this duo?'
Someone else penned: 'Angela is great, natural, down to earth,' as a third added: 'Can we please replace Cat Deeley with Angela Scanlon?'
It comes after Cat was left blushing as one of her This Morning co-stars complimented her bottom live on air during a cheeky cooking segment.
The TV host was joined by co-star Ben Shephard on Monday as they returned to the ITV series after the half term break, showcasing her outfit on social media, featuring a tight-fitting pair of jeans.

Cat, 49, and Ben, 51, headed over to the kitchen for one segment of the show, as co-star Clodagh McKenna showcased her carbonara-inspired pasta bake.
But talk soon turned to Cat’s outfit, with Clodagh, 50%, not holding back as she complimented the presenter - pointing out her behind.
Discussing the ingredients used in the recipe, the trio of presenters were joking about using 'the cheek' pork meat for her dish, which was packed with pancetta.
It prompted Clodagh to joke: 'Is it the cheek or the bottom? A cheeky bottom.'
'I did mention earlier and I'm not sure I can mention this on TV but I did say earlier how good Cat's bottom is looking in these jeans. They really do.
'I said she's got to wear these jeans every day on the show; viewership will soar!'
Cat was seen covering her behind as she blushed, telling Clodagh: ‘Oh my God, thank you… You are very, very kind and I think I’m probably blushing a bit now.’
Cat continued to giggle alongside Ben before Clodagh joked: ‘I hope I didn’t embarrass you! Now, onto my pork cheeks.’
Earlier this month, Cat was seen posing in social media snaps as she revealed she was channelling Gwyneth Paltrow as she took to This Morning in a red velvet suit.
Cat revealed she had copied a look worn by Gwyneth, 53, who wore a red Gucci suit as she attended the brand’s Love Parade fashion show in Los Angeles in 2021.
It was a copy of a look which also featured a blue shirt; the actress and businesswoman had first debuted at the 1996 MTV Video Music Awards.
Taking to Instagram with a photo of her copy-cat look, Cat penned to fans the real reason she was forced to tie up her hair and look exactly like Gwyneth in the process.
She wrote of her two sons: ‘When the boys have nits so it’s time to prevent an infestation but make it FASHION. Gwyneth P in the OG.’
While Gwyneth opted for pointed red heels to go with her look, Cat instead paired the outfit with chic black boots and a simple pair of stud earrings.
Gwyneth last debuted the look which was originally Tom Ford for Gucci and reimagined by current creative director Alessandro Michele according to Vogue four years ago.
