Serious car collectors manage their assets like a stock portfolio. They keep up with market analytics and current values to understand how their collection stacks up, knowing if and when they should sell. Or buy. Historically, that required the use of various platforms and sources, but duPont Registry Group launched a solution for that cumbersome problem.

DuPont Registry Garage is a vehicle management platform for luxury and collector car owners and enthusiasts, available on an app through Apple and Google. Harnessing AI, proprietary data and expert curation, duPont Registry Garage enables insights for the committed and the curious.

How The duPont Registry Garage Works

It's a tech success story from a company that represents luxury brands, one that is led by a CEO who spent most of his career straddling both sectors before he joined duPont two years ago. A veteran of Louis Vuitton and LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, its holding company) Antoine Tessier has been building digital and e-commerce platforms for a long time.

"When I took over as CEO, I realized very quickly that for the last 40-plus years the duPont Registry Group has built an audience of passionate people car collectors hwo really trust the brand," Tessier says. "But the brand and the group was not delivering the all the services and the value for the clients."

The market is valued at roughly $110 billion with growth projected to top $200 billion in the next decade. Tessier says duPont understands the one thing its clients don't have is time, and creating a platform for them to buy and sell their products online is a way to deliver value in the form of time.

The Garage features a smart dashboard that shows collectors the digital history of their vehicles and helps them document details like make, model, year, service history log, and mileage. Connecting to the duPont REGISTRY Index provides market analysis and valuation trends within the app and users can even book car show appearances. In a modern twist, the app includes a Fantasy Football-style gamification section to track wish lists and dream garages.

How About Privacy?

DuPont claims the title of the largest offering of luxury car in the world. In 2025, the group listed 120,000 vehicles for a value total of $25 billion, and its site attracts 14 million visitors every month. The responsibility is huge, and Tessier says the app includes a precise identification system that ensures privacy and data security.

"We have a completely secure platform and have disassociated the car from the owner data; if you see a car on the app, you don't know who owns it," Tessier explains. "It's important to create a strong vault where the data lies."

While the app doesn't create a one-to-one connection between enthusiasts and collectors, it will in the future. Having the option to ask questions of the seller is an important part of car buying.

A full software version for private collections is in the works and will launch in the half of 2026, while the duPont Registry Garage is now available in beta test mode. Expanded vehicle management tools and upgrades to be released over the coming months and full functionality is expected in Q2 2026.
