The trailer for Euphoria's third season has finally dropped, almost four years after the release of season two.
While fans are undoubtedly overjoyed to see the return of the controversial series, some viewers have been left outraged to see the character of Cassie, played by Sydney Sweeney, now working as an OnlyFans model.
The new season, which features a significant five-year time jump, sees Cassie engaged to high school sweetheart Nate (Jacob Elordi), despite her X-rated gig on OnlyFans.
'I work all day, and my bride-to-be is spreadeagled on the internet,' Nate complains in one scene.
The OnlyFans storyline has upset some longtime fans of the series, who are upset by the 'oversexualization' of the show's female characters.

'The Euphoria trailer is actually so st. Nate becomes a businessman and every woman is either involved in drugs or prostitution,' wrote one.
'I feel like this show is only about Zendaya doing drugs and Sydney being naked. That's about it tbh,' wrote another.
'Sydney Sweeney needs to free herself from purposeful objectification,' added a third.
'Euphoria season 3 trailer just came out and of course Sydney Sweeney is on OnlyFans. I’m so sick of her,' wrote another.
A fifth commented, 'Anyone else getting super creeped out by Euphoria? Why is every woman character being written to be a sex worker?'
Despite the backlash, some fans called Cassie's foray into adult entertainment a 'genius' marketing move.
'LOL, Euphoria about to have a new male audience out of nowhere,' joked one.
A second commented, 'Euphoria season three's ratings see massive spike ahead of season premiere!'

Other storylines in the new season include Rue, played by Zendaya, being on the run from drug dealers Mexico.
Meanwhile Maddy (Alexa Demie) is in Hollywood working at a talent agency while growing frustrated that every other girl she meets in Los Angeles 'is a sugar baby'.
Spanish pop sensation Rosalia also has a racy role in the new season, playing a pole-dancing stripper.
Other newcomers to the cast for season three include Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Marshawn Lynch, and Trisha Paytas.
Original Euphoria stars Maude Apatow and Hunter Schafer are also back.
In December, Euphoria creator and showrunner Sam Levinson promised that season three would be 'our best season yet'.

Explaining the time jump, he told Variety, 'Five years felt like a natural place because if they'd gone to college they'd be out of college at that time.'
He continued, 'We basically pick up Rue south of the border in Mexico, in debt to Laurie, trying to come up with some very innovative ways to pay it off.
'And then Cassie is living in the suburbs with Nate, they're engaged and she's very addicted to social media and envious of what appears to be the big lives that all of her high school classmates are living at this point in time.'
He also said that fans will get to see Nate and Cassie get married and teased a huge guest role from none other than Sharon Stone.
'Lexi is an assistant to a showrunner played by Sharon Stone, who is just absolutely delightful and a true icon,' he gushed.
Season three of Euphoria will premiere on HBO on April 12
