It was an emotional day for Gordon Ramsay when his daughter, Holly Ramsay, tied the knot.
Holly, 26, married competitive swimmer Adam Peaty, 31, at The Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul (aka the Bath Abbey) in England on Saturday, Dec. 27. While exclusively speaking with British Vogue about her nuptials in an interview published on Friday, Jan. 2, Holly shared that Gordon, 59, can't contain his happy tears whenever they discuss her special day.
"Dad cries every time I talk about the wedding," said Holly, who is the first of Gordon and Tana Ramsay's children to say "I do." Gordon and Tana, 51, also share 27-year-old daughter Megan, 26-year-old son Jack (Holly's fraternal twin), 24-year-old daughter Matilda, 6-year-old son Oscar and 2-year-old son Jesse.
Holly continued, "The other day I was asking him which car he and I would take to the church, and he welled up immediately."
The acclaimed chef drove his daughter to the church in a Rolls-Royce Phantom, then escorted her inside before walking her down the aisle. Earlier in the day, they shared a first look. Later at the reception, the pair had a sweet father-daughter dance.
"My father-daughter dance was so special, remembering that the last time dad saw this dress was when he danced with my mum at their wedding," Holly said.
Gordon was naturally involved in the wedding food. He assumed the responsibility of overseeing the wedding breakfast at Kin House, per British Vogue.
"Dad has been extremely involved in the food," Holly told the magazine, adding that the Hell's Kitchen star worked with his team at London's Savoy Grill to design the menu.
On the wedding day, Gordon shared a sentimental Instagram post.
"I'm truly so lucky being able to walk this beautiful bride down the aisle and gaining an incredible son in law @adam_peaty !" the Kitchen Nightmares star wrote in the caption alongside two fun photos with Holly. "I love you so much @hollyramsayy and couldn't be a prouder Dad xxx," he wrote in his caption, sharing photos of himself and Holly."
Back in September 2024, when Holly and Peaty announced their engagement, Gordon expressed his support for the couple, welcoming Peaty into the family on Instagram.
"Congratulations to this gorgeous girl @hollyramsayy," the celebrity chef captioned a photo of himself hugging his daughter. "So happy for you and @adam_peaty ! Hols, watching you become the woman you are today with your kindness and your love is absolutely infectious...Adam is a very lucky man !Welcome to the family ❤️."
