TAMAQUA -- Donnie Moyer scored a couple of second half goals for Blue Mountain in a Division I road win at Marian.
Moyer scored four goals total and two in the second half and Luke Grasso added another pair of goals for the 12-goal difference. Robert Bowitz, Vince DiSante, Dylan Knittle, Andrew Waschko, Hayden Freed, Brayden Lightcap all scored goals for the Eagles.
The Eagles swarmed the net and had 47 shots on goal as opposed to Marian's just two shots on goal all game.
The Blue Mountain Lady Eagles defeated North Schuylkill in three sets, 25-18, 25-17, and 25-14.
Leading Blue Mountain to victory was Jaedyn Bartholomew with 16 kills, 12 digs, and five aces. In the process, Bartholomew set school records for career kills and kills in a season. Piper Reinhart had seven kills, one block, and one ace. Alexa Marshall recorded eight digs, seven kills, and three aces.

Nativity BVM defeated Williams Valley in three sets, 25-9, 25-18, and 25-18.

The Lady Eagles scored twice in the first half and six times in the second half en route to their victory. Ella Smith had two goals for Blue Mountain. Overall, the Lady Eagles had seven different goal scorers in the win.
Pine Grove and Pottsville played to a scoreless tie on Wednesday.

Minersville defeated Williams Valley 5-2 on Wednesday, their third victory of the season over the Vikings.
Minersville scored four first-half goals in the win, including a pair of goals from Sara McGrath. Williams Valley picked up goals from Marissa Miller and Quin Smeltz.
Schuylkill Haven cruised to a 5-0 victory over Tamaqua on Wednesday with a trio of first-half goals and a hat trick from Taylor Haag.
Mahanoy Area hosted Tri-Valley and Weatherly in a meet on Wednesday.
Mahanoy Area's boys defeated Tri-Valley 15-50 and Weatherly 22-36, while Weatherly's boys defeatd Tri-Valley 15-50.
The Golden Bears girls picked up victories over both Tri-Valley and Weatherly by 14-22 and 15-50 respectively, while Tri-Valley defeated Weatherly 15-50.
