Last One Laughing viewers 'absolutely lost it' after a Good Morning Britain star made a '10/10' surprise appearance during series two - and the new episodes are hailed 'the funniest thing you'll see this year'.
The comedy reality TV show, presented by Jimmy Carr and Roisin Conaty, hit our screens on Amazon Prime Video last year.
'10 comedians. One rule. Do not laugh. Jimmy Carr has assembled ten of the UK's funniest people in one room and set them the challenge of making each other laugh, without laughing themselves,' the streaming service's synopsis reads.
'Over the course of the series, they will try any means necessary to try and break their opponents...but can they do it all with a straight face?'
The second series hit Prime Video on Thursday and fans have already taken online to share their rave reviews.
The star-studded cast of comedians includes David Mitchell, Diane Morgan, Romesh Ranganathan, Amy Gledhill, Maisie Adam, Mel Giedroyc, Alan Carr, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Sam Campbell, and Bob Mortimer.
During the third episode, a Good Morning Britain favourite Richard Madeley, 69, made a shock appearance on screen.
Those who watched the third episode found his stint on the programme absolutely hilarious.
The broadcaster joined the GMB team in 2017, but became a regular host of the show in 2021.
Richard usually appears on the morning breakfast show on Thursday, but also appears on other days when needed.
Those who watched the third episode found his stint on the programme absolutely hilarious.
One wrote on Reddit: 'Just started episode 3 and I can't lie, I absolutely lost it when Richard Madeley appeared, 10/10 unexpected.'
'His section was the funniest part out of the 3 eps for me.'
'The Madeley was great.'
'And this show has convinced me Richard Madeley would be fun on a Taskmasters New Year's Treat special.'
Many rushed to Reddit and X, formerly known as Twitter, to share how much they love the new series.
Another others took to the discussion forum to share how much they enjoyed the second series.
'@missdianemorgan joker on Last One Laughing was everything I hoped it would be and more; I couldn't breath.'
'Last one laughing is back . Absolutely love this programme.'
'Whoever needs a wash of joy and laughter over them right now - turn on Last One Laughing. Diane Morgan is a damned genius.'
'I started season 2 last night, binged all 3 eps in one sitting and almost died laughing.'
'In a very bleak time to be alive, last one laughing gives you some light relief. It's just genius, and I recommend everyone watches!'
It comes after Last One Laughing confirmed it will return for a third series - just hours after the newest episodes dropped on Prime Video.
The second series debuted just yesterday (March 19), with a whole host of much-loved comedians taking part.
Meanwhile, the premise sees these comics in close quarters for six hours - while trying to make the others crack up.
Once a contestant has laughed twice, they are eliminated from the contest.
According to The Sun, series three will begin filming in the spring to be aired next year - while a special will go out at Halloween.
A show insider told the publication: 'Last One Laughing is unquestionably one of the most talked-about TV shows of the past year, and it's not a huge surprise that more has now been ordered.'
'But no one expected them to reveal there'd be a new season and a special coming out in the same year.'
'At the rate at which it's gaining momentum, the calibre of comedian they'll attract for series three will be off the scale.'
Amazon boss Tara Erer said of the programme: 'We've already made this format in over 20 countries. Wherever it goes, it becomes a huge hit.'
'With the UK, we knew it would be successful. But the scale at which it grew was a welcome surprise.'
Asked if it will keep coming back, she added: 'That's the goal.'
'I think it can go on and on and keep the quality at the level that we started with.'
Bob Mortimer won the show last year, bagging himself the honour of returning as reigning champ.
