Do you do you see anything in the print, whether it's that data center sales miss we talked about, whether it's the forecast uh for fiscal Q3, it looks like that's it's in line with consensus, but maybe lower than some had had estimated. Anything there, Angelo, that causes you any kind of more general concern about that broader AI trade and trend?
No, no, not you know, not at all. I mean, if anything, when you look at the October uh quarter guide, Nvidia specifically uh excluded any type of revenue from uh to China. So, um if anything, you know, you’re looking at zero revenue um for the July quarter out in China. In fact, you’re talking about a 4 billion uh revenue hit um in that July quarter from China the lack of China revenue. And now in the October quarter, the fact that they didn’t add any China revenue at all, um to tells me that, hey, listen, um the the business prospects, the demand environment looks extremely strong, um in the Western markets and um, you know, to maybe to the point of last guest, there there is upside potential once you start uh potentially adding in China. I think the call will be extremely important because you do have um everyone’s going to be listening in to what Jensen has to say about that China opportunity when we could potentially see revenue ramp. Is there some sort of uh, you know, uh suspension on the H20? are they going to prevent the H20 um forgo it and waiting for a B30 ramp? a Blackwell ramp into China? all questions that I think um investors are going to be waiting to hear on the call.
Do you think, Angelo, I mean, if I'm an investor in this name, I I am wondering what is the long-term opportunity for for Nvidia in China. And just given all the headlines and cross currents and political posturing, do do you think we can say with any certainty and real clarity right now what that opportunity is? Like how much money Jensen Wo can really make over there?
Yeah, I mean listen, you kind of try to think about this. I mean, he Jensen alluded to it being a $50 billion dollar market opportunity in, you know, over the next year or so. And, you know, our view is, you know, they could potentially take 30 to 35 billion in revenue. And um, you know, again it it remains to be seen exactly whether or not that could happen. I don't think that can happen within without a Blackwell offering in that market. I think Jensen's really um trying to push that with the administration. I think he's going to get that his wish at some point in time. Hopefully sooner than later. Maybe he gets thrown in with a larger China deal with the US but um once we do get that approval and um Nvidia can start selling you know a Blackwell chip into China um again I do think you're going to hear on the call you know Jensen really talk about the fact that hey listen there’s a massive opportunity in China and the fact that hey Nvidia really needs the China market to be successful here.
And then you know when you kind of think about just the run rate here in revenue in in order to kind of meet some of the maybe higher expectations that have been thrown into the the revenue numbers into 2026 and 2027 it would be nice to see some um you know China revenue really start um ramping up here because um you need to start seeing some diversification really away from these cloud service providers here in the US.
