Donald Trump has delivered a brutal insult to a reporter who probed the president over his recent MRI scan.

Trump addressed the MRI he'd received during his physical last month in a press briefing on Air Force One on Sunday night after Minnesota Governor Tim Walz demanded the results be released publicly.

During the exchange, he was asked for his response to Walz's cries for transparency.

'They were perfect like my phone call where I got impeached. Absolutely perfect. If you want to have it released, I'll release it,' Trump said.

The president was referring to the phone call he had with Ukraine President Zelensky that led to his first impeachment attempt in 2019.

Trump was then questioned by a female reporter what part of the body the MRI was looking at when he took a shot at her.

'I have no idea. It was just an MRI. It wasn't the brain because I took a cognitive test and aced it. I got a perfect mark which you would be incapable of doing,' he said, pointing straight at the reporter.

He then said 'goodbye everybody' to the media scrum before pointing at a second female reporter and saying 'you too.'

Kamala Harris' former running mate has rallied for the MRI's results after Trump called Walz 'seriously retarded' on social media last week.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has said in late October that the president received 'advanced imaging' at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center 'as part of his routine physical examination' and that the results showed Trump remains in 'exceptional physical health.'

She did not specify what part of Trump's body was imaged in the scan.

Leavitt had initially promised the press to provide more information regarding the MRI when she knew it.

In mid-November, Leavitt was asked about it again and said she was 'glad' for the question but didn't answer it.

Trump's recent clash with Walz has ramped up after the president called Walz 'a retard' on Thanksgiving night.

During the press conference, Trump was also asked if he stands by the insult with a reporter claiming 'many Americans' find the word offensive.

'Absolutely. You have a problem with it? You know what? I think there's something wrong with him,' Trump said of Walz.

The president also reiterated his rage at the governor for allegedly letting hundreds of thousands of Somalian migrants to 'prey' on innocent people in his state.

'Anybody that would do what he did, anybody that would allow those people into a state and pay billions out to Somalia... there's something wrong with Walz.'

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz had asked to release the results from an MRI Trump received during his physical last month in response to the president calling the former vice presidential candidate 'seriously retarded' on social media

Trump made the initial insult in a rant against several of his Democrat enemies in the state.

'The seriously retarded Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, does nothing, either through fear, incompetence, or both.'

Walz responded to Trump's insults by questioning the state of the president's health.

'Release the MRI results,' Walz wrote on X.

During an interview with Kristen Welker on Meet the Press, Walz claimed Trump is 'fading physically'.

'I think what's most concerning about this is... has anyone in the history of the world ever had an MRI assigned to them and had no idea what it was for, as he says?
'Well, here we've got a guy on Thanksgiving, where we spent time with our families, we ate, we played Yahtzee, we cheered for football or whatever. This guy is apparently in a room ranting about everything else.'

Walz claimed: 'This is not normal behavior. It's not healthy.'
