What's your favourite brand of olive oil?
Odysea. Its Greek olive oils have so much flavour. I love to drizzle its high-polyphenol one (£8.50, Waitrose) over salads or lunches.

Food/drink item you always pack when you go abroad?
Maldon Sea Salt. I have a tiny tray that's smaller than my palm and I take that with me even when I go out and about in London. If I'm away filming for a long period, then I take my Yorkshire Gold tea bags as well.

Best bread for toasting?
I love Gail's Challa Tin Loaf. It's a slightly sweet, enriched dough, and it's amazing with a bit of salted butter.

Which butter?
Lescure is beautiful but a little bit tricky to buy (£6.60, bonnebouffe.co.uk), so failing that All Things Butter has a brilliant salted version (£3.05, Waitrose).

Condiment that improves any meal?
Caribbean hot sauce. My brand Island Girl, which launches at the end of this month, is slightly sweet and gives a pop to everything.

Best ready meal?
Itsu's gyoza dumplings from the freezer section are brilliant (£4.20, ocado.com). They have saved many a mealtime for me and my children. Fry some, then add to a salad with a quick miso dressing and noodles.

And the best Sunday roast?
The Princess Royal in Notting Hill does a beautiful one and it's a lovely setting, too.

Favourite cheese?
Saint-Félicien (from £9.75, lafromagerie.co.uk) is a lovely, stinky, soft cheese that's so buttery. On a baguette it's fantastic.

Crisps of choice?
I'm obsessed with the Torres Black Truffle ones - nothing compares.

Restaurant you want to go back to?
We save it for special occasions, but The River Cafe in London is just unbeatable. The food is beyond beautiful, the service is incredible and they don't treat families with kids in a funny way. It deserves all its accolades.

What's the bougiest thing in your store cupboard?
Fortnum & Mason's own-brand mixed nuts (£15.95) and its Colonel Skinner Hot Mango Chutney (£6.95). The jars are so beautiful I can't bring myself to open them.

Best fish and chips in the UK?
Rockfish in Dartmouth. It's nothing fancy, but it's so good. Nothing beats eating fish and chips when you can smell the sea.

Secret ingredient?
I love to put chilli through desserts. If I'm doing anything with roasted fruit, a little brush of hot sauce brings out that sweetness.

Favourite kind of potato?
I can demolish a tray of roast potatoes cooked in rosemary, garlic and goose fat.

Top spot for drinks with a view?
Kensington Park Road in Notting Hill has a lot of restaurants with a little platform on the street, and in summer you can just sit, have a drink and watch the world go by.

What's your Deliveroo order?
Bleecker's bacon cheeseburger with Angry House Fries and an Oreo milkshake with added malt.

Most useful kitchen utensil or gadget?
A Mexican elbow for squeezing juice. We have a green one to squeeze limes - perfect if you're making a ton of margaritas.

Go-to for cheap eats?
I love Pret's Mozzarella and Tomato Croissant. It's super comforting.

Favourite corner-shop chocolate?
Maltesers or Minstrels. You can't go wrong with a grab bag.

Holiday destination you'd go back to just for the food?
Morocco. I love the heady use of spices and the smell of orange blossom in the air.

Ten-minute meal that always delivers?
Chicken and pineapple enchiladas. I shred leftover chicken from a Sunday roast into a tomato sauce with cumin and oregano, add a tin of pineapple, onions and peppers, and put it into wraps with cheese on top.
