A recent live WWE event in Japan featured many of the company's professional wrestlers, including CM Punk, Asuka, Dominik Mysterio, and Rhea Ripley, competing in matches or making other appearances.

For Rhea, it included several memorable in-ring moments, including a sort of reunion with her former Judgement Day beau, Dom. It also included a bloody injury, which Rhea apparently suffered during her match.

Rhea competed in a four-way match, which also included Iyo Sky, Raquel Rodriguez, and the WWE Women's Champion Stephanie Vaquer.

During one particular spot, Raquel threw Iyo towards Rhea. As Rhea was also in the air, she and Iyo collided, resulting in her nose getting busted. That prompted officials to check on her quickly.

She appeared shaken up afterward as officials attended to her bleeding nose and was helped to the back by officials due to her situation.

Rhea took to her official X to share numerous fan videos or photos from the Japan event, including footage of her sitting ringside, getting checked on, and receiving assistance from an official to go to the back. Afterward, she shared a video of her nose with swabs or plugs in her nostrils to stop the bleeding.

Along with that, she showed that one side of her nose was slightly bruised and received treatment from medical officials.

After turning her head side to side to show both sides of her nose, she smiled and gave fans a thumbs-up signal that she was still doing alright.

"Thank you Japan," she wrote with her X video, adding a crying laughing emoji and "I still love you!"

Rhea had some fun with the injury in an X post, showing a close-up photo of her face with the nose plugs. Next to that photo, she had a close-up of her dog's face and used the message “Twins” to joke about her resemblance to the dog.

Her trip to Japan with WWE included some fun moments, too. In one spot, she hit a move on former stablemate Dom to get some revenge. She also participated in a special moment to celebrate AJ Styles with other superstars in the ring.

As of this report, it remains unclear whether this will render Rhea inactive for a considerable time. It's possible she could return using a protective mask if the nose injury were serious. A "Saturday Night's Main Event" is scheduled for Nov. 1, but WWE hasn't yet disclosed Rhea's injury status for upcoming events.

Her injury is one of several that have recently affected WWE and its programming. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins suffered a brutal shoulder injury at Crown Jewel, which will require surgery and keep him out of action for a considerable stretch of time.

On WWE SmackDown, fans saw Ilja Dragunov return from injury after over a year away from the show. In addition, an on-television injury angle occurred for popular star Jacob Fatu, which will keep him away from WWE for some time due to his injury.
