"She really enjoyed it and couldn't stop smiling. She was beaming from ear to ear," the bride said of her mother.

A U.K. couple celebrated their wedding early so that the bride's mother could attend.

Chloe Bearman was scheduled to wed her partner of 11 years, Daniel Barnes in August, but after learning that her mother, Karen Bearman, 61, was "nearing the end of her life," they changed their plans, according to BBC.

Chloe told the outlet that it was her mother's dream to spend some "special bonding" time with her daughter before the wedding and to see the event, so she took part in the Celebration of Love event at St Elizabeth Hospice.

At the event, she celebrated her nuptials as her mother, clad in a pink and white patterned dress and flower headband, and other guests watched on.

"It wasn't a marriage ceremony, it was a blessing," Chloe told BBC. "But that was sort of enough for my mum to see us make that commitment."
"We wanted to celebrate the love that we all had for her, as well as the love that me and Dan have for each other - we wanted her to be as much a part of as we were," she explained.

In photos obtained by BBC, the bride could be seen wearing a white bridal v-neck dress -- which she purchased online -- and matched her mother with a flower crown on her head. Her groom wore a black suit jacket with a light green tie and multi-floral boutonniere.

Chloe said the hospice staff also went "above and beyond" to make the event special, including making several treats including sandwiches, scones and even a wedding cake.

"She really enjoyed it and couldn't stop smiling," Chloe said of her mother. "She was beaming from ear to ear. It really was just the perfect day and the stars aligned."

One photo showed the bride holding on to her mother's hand and her groom's as the trio all smiled widely. Chloe said that she will always cherish the memories from the special day.

"She's still with us, she's the mum we know and love, but she is sleeping more now, but she is comfortable and is at peace - that's all we can ask for," Chloe told BBC.

The bride said that her mother has no regrets that she wouldn't be able to attend their real ceremony and told them that they should still celebrate it with as much joy and love, like they would if she were there.

"That's what she wants," she said, jokingly adding, "And she has basically said to us that if we don't have a good time at our wedding, then she is going to make it rain."
