Dave Portnoy's hatred of Ohio State is no secret, so naturally, before the Buckeyes faced his beloved Michigan, the Barstool chief couldn't resist brutally mocking his bitter rivals.

The media mogul and renowned Wolverines fan was in Ann Arbor on Saturday as part of Fox's Big Noon Kickoff pregame coverage of the rivalry showdown.

And Portnoy used his platform to take yet another shot at Ohio State as he launched into a minutes-long rant to taunt the Buckeyes over their record against Michigan over the past few years.

Ohio State hasn't managed to beat Michigan since November 30, 2019, and Portnoy wasn't about to let them forget it.

'2,191 days since Ohio State beat Michigan,' declared Portnoy, who was decked out in a yellow and navy plaid Michigan parka and a wolf head hat on his head.
'There are people born in Ohio who have never seen the Buckeyes beat Michigan. And these morons on stage all year, "Hey Dave, are you nervous about Ohio State?" You know what I say? Easiest game on the schedule. We beat them every single year.

Portnoy then began to list off a number of things he claimed were occurring at the time of Ohio State's last victory over the Wolverines.

He claimed that Britney Spear's Baby One More Time was still top of the charts, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire was the No 1 TV show, and that Shakespeare in Love had just won the Oscar.

All of those things had happened long before the Buckeyes' 2019 victory over Michigan but that didn't stop Portnoy as he plowed on with his merciless mocking.

'We've heard it all,' he continued. 'What will be the excuse this year? Will it be Connor Stalions? Signals? Your quarterback got concussed? You took a bus instead of a plane? We don't care!
He added: 'When an Ohio State fan walks down the street and sees a Michigan fan, they poke their eyes on the ground and cross the street.
'Today is a great day for celebrations. Five times in a row. Let's go!'

Portnoy has rarely held back in his trolling of the Buckeyes but he called a temporary truce on his attack on Friday to make a desperate plea to Ohio State fans.

In a video posted to X on Friday, Portnoy addressed the Buckeyes fanbase directly, referencing the ugly scenes that followed last year's clash where Ohio State head coach Ryan Day reportedly required security at his home.

While Portnoy is known for his relentless trolling of the Buckeyes, he put across a serious message to the rival fans - before inevitably pivoting back to trash talk.

'This rant is for Ohio State fans eyes only,' Portnoy captioned the post. 'Listen I know we've had our differences I know Ryan Day and I don't get along but let's please keep it civil after we beat you guys again. There is no place for personal threats in this one sided rivalry. Thank you.'

Following Michigan's victory in 2024 - the Wolverines' fourth consecutive win in the series - reports emerged that Day and his family faced severe backlash from their own fanbase.
