Set pictures reveal iconic Harry Potter locations being put together for the upcoming TV series.

The highly anticipated show - which is set to launch in 2027 - stars Dominic McLaughlin in the lead role of Harry Potter.

These pictures reveal constructions including what appears to be Professor Sprout's greenhouse, the school courtyard and the Whomping Willow.

In addition, the photos also feature a small building which could either be the Burrow (home of the Weasleys) or Hagrid's Hut.

The greenhouse is where Professor Sprout, the head of Hufflepuff house, teaches her Herbology lessons.

In the second installment, Chamber of Secrets, it plays a major role by introducing the pivotal Mandrakes.

Meanwhile, The Whomping Willow is a sentient, violent tree located on the Hogwarts grounds.

Harry and Ron Weasley encounter it in Chamber of Secrets, in which they crash a flying car into the tree itself.

However, the Whomping Willow's surprising origins are revealed in Prisoner of Azkaban.

Dominic, who was selected from over 32,000 hopefuls, steps into the iconic role which was originally made famous by Daniel Radcliffe.

He leads a fresh-faced cast that includes Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley and Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger.

Nick Frost, known for Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, takes on the role of Hagrid.

The principal cast also includes American actor John Lithgow as Professor Albus Dumbledore; Janet McTeer as Professor McGonagall; and Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape.

Filming for the series began last year, with multiple cast members already spotted in-character on set.

Back in August 2025, Dominic and Nick were snapped in costume as Harry and Hagrid for the first time during filming in London.

Members of the public documented it all on TikTok and in one clip Nick's double can be seen waiting to film a scene while standing outside Sainsbury's Local.

They captioned the post: 'Hagrid's double rehearsing for the HARRY POTTER TV series.'

It brought traffic in the capital to a standstill while cast were seen outside a pub.

They wrote: 'HARRY POTTER TV series filming Hagrid's scene at the Leaky Cauldron.'

Fans have also gotten a glimpse of acting heavyweight John transformed into Albus Dumbledore.

He looked worlds away from himself wearing the professor's long white hair, beard and moustache as well as his wizarding robes and glasses.

The actor was a far cry from the wizarding school Hogwarts as he was spotted filming on the sandy beach in Cornwall.

There is also what appears to be a small dwelling, possibly either Hagrid's home or The Burrow (home of the Weasleys)

The show has been described by HBO as a 'faithful adaptation' to JK Rowling's beloved novels

Adding to his incredible costume, John wore a puff sleeved blue shirt, a matching waistcoat with a gold pocket watch and velvet blue trousers.

He filmed intense scenes walking along the beach in the shallow ocean water before he was spotted clutching his waist and looking in pain.

As well as this, fans have also seen new Ron actor Alastair filming with the rest of the Weasley family at King's Cross Station.
