After trying the FOREO LUNA 4 Plus myself, I can see exactly what it's trying to do.
It's one of those devices that aims to replace a few steps in your routine rather than just being a cleanser.
In use, it's genuinely easy to get along with. It slots into my routine without much effort and the app makes it simple to tweak settings depending on how your skin is feeling.
The cleansing side is solid and leaves skin feeling fresh, while the extra LED and microcurrent features make it feel a bit more like a treatment than just a wash.
That said, the results from those extras are more subtle and take consistency. Realistically, you are not going to see dramatic changes overnight but if you use it regularly, it can help with those small skin concerns.
For me, the LEDs felt more like a bonus feature rather than something that's going to deliver massive results on its own. It would be interesting to see how this works alongside an LED mask as well.
Overall, I enjoyed testing it, but I'd say it's best suited to someone who likes the idea of combining everything into one device rather than chasing intense, targeted results from separate tools.

I used the FOREO LUNA 4 Plus as part of my usual skincare routine over several weeks.
I tested it on both makeup and no-makeup days to see how well it cleans and how my skin felt afterwards, as well as whether I noticed any changes over time.
I also played around with the settings in the FOREO app, including the different intensities, massage pattern, and heat, to see how much difference the customisation actually makes in real use.
Performance
The first thing I noticed is that the cleansing side of this device is very strong.
It removes makeup, oil and other buildup really effectively, and my skin always feels fresh and properly clean afterwards. What I also like is that my skin isn't left feeling tight or stripped despite the intensity.
The LED and microcurrent definitely offer more subtle benefits in the short term, but they do give the skin a slightly smoother, more refreshed look after consistent use.
It's not an overnight transformation, but I did notice a gradual improvement in glow and texture. The heat setting adds a nice touch, especially in the evenings and helps to relax my stressed muscles.
Performance-wise, it's strongest as a cleanser first and a treatment device second. The extra tech is a nice bonus, but it really shines most when you use it regularly rather than expecting instant results.

It's easy to use, although it took me a while to figure out the settings I needed at first as it doesn't come with instructions.

There are three different cleansing modes, a range of adjustable massage patterns, and 16 intensity levels, so it's easy to tailor depending on how sensitive your skin is.

Let's be honest, this is not an impulse beauty purchase.
The LUNA 4 Plus is currently £379 when not on offer, which immediately puts it in long term investment territory.
Where it starts to justify that price though, is in how much it claims to replace.
Instead of buying a separate cleansing brush, a microcurrent device and an LED mask, this combines all three into one tool.
If you look at it like that, the hefty price tag does feel a bit more justified but as with all these devices, consistency is key and it isn't going to magically transform your face just because you've spent a lot of money.
How does it compare to similar products?
When you compare it to similar devices, the LUNA 4 Plus stands out for one simple reason: it's trying to do a bit of everything.
Something like the NuFACE Trinity+ (£385), is a similar price but it is much more focused.
It's all about microcurrent, and it's known for being stronger and more targeted when it comes to lifting. So if sculpting and firming are your main goals, a device like that will probably give you more noticeable results.
Then you've got LED-focused tools like the CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Face Mask (£399.99)
These cover your whole face and are designed to be used for longer sessions, which can make a real difference for things like pigmentation or overall skin tone.
The LUNA 4 Plus does include LED, but it's a lot more targeted and quicker to use, so it's more like a little boost added into your routine rather than a full-on treatment.
