Lizzo has been slammed online after she became embroiled in a bizarre public spat with a fan.

The drama began after the singer, 37, participated in the viral Chopped and Screwed challenge on TikTok last month.

The trend sees people use autotune to sing their hot takes along with the backing track of T-Pain and Ludacris' song Chopped and Screwed.

'If Europeans came to the Americas and erased indigenous history, what makes you think they didn't do that in Scotland, too?' Lizzo sang in her video, which was shared in late August.

But the TikTok was met with fierce criticism from viewers, who roasted her for being off beat and accused her of singing off-key in the comment section.

And when one fan posted a video of her own poking fun at the About Damn Time songstress' clip, it sparked a fierce online feud between the fan and Lizzo.

The fan, named Nicky, shared a clip of herself participating in the trend, while sharing a message to Lizzo.

She sang, 'Lizzo, how you a musician and you couldn't even stay on key, key, key? Are you fking kidding me? Not to mention that your a was off beat?'

Nicky's response went viral, raking in more than 5.9 million views, and it even caught Lizzo's attention.

Lizzo posted a response to the backlash earlier this week, doing the trend again and this time singing, 'You keep telling me I'm not on beat but maybe the beat not on you? Ooh, Ooh. What you gonna do?'

'I heard everything you said,' she added in the caption, with an angry face emoji.

Nicky then shared another video in which she sang, 'Lizzo, don't be getting mad at me cause you wasn't on beat, boo. It's OK 'cause I love you, too.'

'Well if you wanna catch a fade make sure you go and catch a retwist, too,' Lizzo replied back to Nicky in one final post, referring to her hair. 'I'm just playing baby, I love you.'

'Lmao can we end this beef?' the musician captioned it.

'Even though I need a retwist, I'll still out dress your damn Labubu,' Nicky said in her last clip.

'And you're mad 'cause I'm thicker than you. Don't forget that I'm the baddest, too.'

But a fan named Nicky posted a video of her own poking fun at Lizzo, claiming she was 'off key' and 'off beat,' and it lead to a back and forth between her and the singer

'Well if you wanna catch a fade make sure you go and catch a retwist, too,' Lizzo replied back to Nicky in one post, referring to her hair. 'I'm just playing baby, I love you'

While many people were enthralled by their beef at first, some felt Lizzo took it too far after she commented on the woman's hair

She added in the caption, 'FOR MY LOC GIRLIES! Now we can end the beef.'

Their back and forth has completely captured the globe, with each of the videos getting millions of views and raking in thousands of comments.

And while many people were enthralled by their beef at first, some felt Lizzo took it too far after she commented on the woman's hair.

'Wait that actually hurt,' one user replied to the video in the comment section, while another added, 'You didn't have to do that to her.'
'This hurt me and I don't even have locs,' wrote someone else.
'Not me just giving myself a fade without a retwist, feeling attacked,' read a fourth comment.
'Just chill and end this beef, we all here for the vibes and beats,' a fifth said.
