A Miami-based woman has claimed she was in a months-long 'digital romance' with Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton just weeks before he was seen with Kim Kardashian.
Fashion designer Julia Medeiros, who has been dubbed a Kylie Jenner lookalike, says she began regularly speaking with Hamilton through Instagram in November and is now under the impression they had an online fling.
The DMs, which have been seen by Daily Mail, show the F1 driver, 41, and Medeiros, 24, casually getting to know one another in exchanges from November 2025 to January 2026, though there are no explicitly romantic messages between them.
His final message to the Brazilian business owner appeared to be sent on January 28, just days before romance rumours emerged between Hamilton and Kardashian.
Medeiros had wished him a happy birthday and he said to her: 'Thank you. Sorry I haven't been on here for a long time, over a month.'
Medeiros responded asking where he was, but she never received a message in return.

'It wasn't casual. We spoke constantly. There was intensity. It felt like a real connection,' Medeiros insists to Daily Mail, saying Hamilton began watching her Stories in 2024.
'He would actively view everything I posted. However, it was in 2025, during the Formula 1 event in Brazil, that we effectively began talking.'
At the time, many racing drivers, including Hamilton, were in the South American country where Medeiros was born.
It was then Medeiros, who was living in Miami, sent the first message to Hamilton, asking if he was in her home country.
'I hope you're having an amazing time. Brazilians are honestly one of the most welcoming people,' Medeiros said when he confirmed his location.
'Best people here,' Hamilton replied. 'Where are you?'
'From that point on, he started messaging me daily. He also continued watching all of my stories, almost always being one of the first people to view them,' Medeiros claims.
'Something that always caught my attention was how quickly he would see my stories.'

'If I posted anything -- whether it was something simple like a glass of wine or a landscape -- he would view it almost immediately,' she continues.
'That surprised me, especially because he doesn't follow me on Instagram. In fact, he barely follows anyone. Yet he was consistently among the first to watch.'
Medeiros goes on to say she and the seven-time world champion 'maintained frequent conversations' for months before he was romantically linked to Kardashian.
'In the screenshots I have, he shares his travel schedule, mentioning that he would be in Qatar, then Singapore, then the United States, detailing where he would be so we could potentially arrange to meet,' she says.
'There are also many messages where he asks where I was.'
'Even when I took time to reply because I was busy with work or everyday commitments, he would continue messaging, showing strong interest in knowing my location so we could see each other.'
Indeed, the screenshots of their DMs appears to show Hamilton frequently asking where Medeiros was located and sharing details of his own schedule.
However, he never explicitly asked Medeiros to meet up or showed any overt romantic intention toward her.

Some exchanges show Hamilton talking about his day while Medeiros responded with voice messages doing the same.
'Ah wow did know [sic] you used to live in London. I just got back to London for a couple days. Heading to LA Saturday then Vegas. What do you do, Julia?' read one message he sent to her, which she responded to with a voice note.
In November, Medeiros commented on an Instagram Story the racing driver shared in tribute to his mother's birthday.
'That's so sweet. Happy birthday to future mother-in-law,' Medeiros said before sending another voice note.
Hamilton sent his thanks to Medeiros but did not address her 'mother-in-law' comment, instead he changed the topic to the languages Medeiros can speak and asked about a shop she earlier mentioned.
Medeiros and Hamilton appeared to exchange casual messages almost daily throughout November, but their conversation began to die down over the Christmas and New Year's holidays.
However, Medeiros appears to be under the impression their conversation was leading to a romantic connection.
Medeiros tells Daily Mail: 'When someone messages you every day, comments on your photos, shares their movements, you start to believe it means something.'
Then came Super Bowl LX on February 8, when photographers captured Hamilton and Kardashian, 45, seated next to each other in a VIP suite at Levi's Stadium.
Just days earlier, they had sparked romance rumours in the headlines when reports claimed they spent a 'romantic' weekend at Estelle Manor in the Cotswolds, UK.
The speculation was further fuelled when they were seen arriving together at a hotel in Paris on February 2, shortly before their Super Bowl appearance.
Medeiros claims she was blindsided and 'hurt' by reports of an apparent romance between Hamilton and Kardashian.
'After months of talking, I truly believed we were building something. The messages were constant. I didn't expect to see him publicly involved in another story,' she says.
She says the communication between them allegedly dropped significantly after the Super Bowl images went viral - though screenshots of their DMs show messages began to dwindle long before that.
'There was no dramatic confrontation. But everything changed,' she says, adding that their exchanges may have only been 'digital' but they 'didn't feel superficial'.
'Throughout this entire period,I was under the impression that we were about to meet. He showed strong interest in getting to know me personally.'

However, neither Hamilton nor Kardashian has publicly commented on the rumours to date, with the Ferrari man telling a reporter earlier this month that he was not answering questions on his 'private life' when probed.
Rumours surrounding Hamilton and Kardashian first began at the end of January, when the pair were pictured checking into upmarket hotel Estelle Manor in the Cotswolds.
The pair were seen arriving with a motorcade in tow at the five-star establishment, and whispers of a romance have been growing louder ever since.
After they appeared together at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, to watch the Seattle Seahawks clinch the Super Bowl on February 8, Hamilton was asked about the relationship by a member of the press.
But, according to Sky Sports' F1 reporter Ted Kravitz, the seven-time world champion shut it down by saying: 'It's my private life, I'm not talking about that.'
While their relationship is believed to have intensified romantically this year, Hamilton and clothing brand SKIMS founder Kardashian are known to have been friends for many years.
When the F1 legend was with Nicole Scherzinger and Kardashian was married to Kanye West, the four were pictured together at GQ's 2014 Men of The Year awards in London.
West and Kardashian went on to announce their split in 2021 and divorced the following year while Hamilton and Scherzinger split in 2015.
